Two of the most effective machines for natural cellulite reduction treatment are the multi-hip machine and leg press. So next time you're at the gym try to focus your workout around them.

The repetitive motion of the multi-hip machine works out the problematic cellulite-prone areas of your legs.

The leg press, on the other hand, allows you to achieve a unique workout, concentrating on the muscles all around your thighs for a balanced cellulite reduction treatment.

Cellulite Reduction Treatment – The Multi-Hip Machine

Have a trainer demonstrate how to correctly perform a leg curl for cellulite reduction treatment on the multi-hip machine.

Here are some points to remember:

  1. Move the platform to highest.
  2. Make sure the lever is the same height as the complete knee movement.
  3. Move the padded roller around 45 degrees down.
  4. Put your leg over the roller, closest to the lever.
  5. Grasp the bars.
  6. Your knee and the lever should pivot at the same point.
  7. Move the roller low until your knee is completely straight.
  8. Have the trainer ensure that the platform is appropriate for your height. Some awkwardness may occur for shorter persons.

While leaning on your back in the leg press, you can feel the contraction and flexion of the muscles in your thighs. The unique position allows you to lift weights, concentrating pressure in your thigh muscles. Here are some reminders on using the leg press for cellulite reduction treatment.

  1. Make sure that your back is tight against the pad at all times.
  2. Never arch your back or put all the pressure on your lower back. Keep your weight evenly distributed across your back.
  3. Tighten your abs throughout the workout. Keep your chest up.
  4. Your knees should always be bent slightly. Never snap your leg straight.
  5. Bring the weight down slowly as you keep hips back.
  6. Never move your knees past your toes.
  7. Concentrate on distributing the weight between your hip and knees.
  8. Stop lowering the weight at a comfortable level and then push it up.

The most important thing to remember when using these two machines is that the weight should give your muscles enough resistance for effective cellulite reduction treatment. If it's too easy that you can easily hit 20 reps without breaking a sweat, the workout may be useless.
